First Big Snow

What is more fun than the first big snow! We woke up this morning to find a fresh white blanket. The kids (me included) couldn't wait to get out in it and play! I hope this might inspire you to get out and take some fun shots of the your kids. I have lots of ideas for winter outdoor shots... SO if you are looking for a little help!

Busy busy

Great family photo sessions this fall. I have to share one of the most fun shots I got this fall! I was not expecting this many pets in one photo. Even though there was a wind advisory out and rain in the forecast... we got some great shots!

Home

I have been taking photos of this family ever since I started. I feel like I am at "home" with them. They have the greatest spot to take photos right in the back yard... I want to move the barn to my house. I am still trying to talk them into that one. Yeah I also want the vintage stove, and little sink they have in the entry. It even has the old faucet. I was told tonight that I was going to be mentioned in the "will." It is great having friends like that. I hope you enjoy the photo as much as me!

My Secret Garden

Thanks to all the people who noticed I haven't blogged lately. I spend so much time doing busy stuff I forget sometimes to stop for a moment.

First off got a new purse style! Pretty excited about that! It is very different from the other purses I carry. Another new style to round out your purse closet. I have fabric samples in lots of textures and colors. So if you are ready to treat yourself, I'll hook you up!

Starting on Christmas cards... yes it is that time already. Deadline this year for christmas cards is first week in November. SO if you are looking for custom cards this year and you haven't told me yet make sure to email me and get on the schedule for designs. Purse orders will all be in by 2nd week in November for Holiday delivery. Tile orders will need to be in also.

Fun Summer pics.......

Okay how fun does this look! The joy of splashing your feet in the water. All of them gathered for a special photo for grandma & pa. What a great looking bunch of kids. It took a little bit of coaxing to get them all to smile... but it worked.

Yep you're right it is the smell of Baby!!! This one is too cute and tooo perfect! I wish I could bottle up the smell of a new baby, love it! I was invited to spend the morning with this little man or as mom & dad call him "little dude!" Enjoy

Paris

Okay I am looking a little like "Miss Hilton" (Paris that is). I have a new matching purse for my new "fav" tile!!! I am loving my new purse in the new COGNAC Leather. I have extended by purse collection to include RED leather and COGNAC leather! How fun... A girl has to have lots of purses!!!

The "Grand Funk"

Okay I know you are all thinking I married Jeff for his last name! I know it is a little corny.... okay it is a lot! But hey if you can get a way with it do it!! This is my personal latest tile. I finally made one for myself. It makes a statement each time I wear it... The necklace is fully adjustable for any length... from choker to long. I am loving it! Dasies are in Bloom

It seems like yesterday I took this little princesses "naked baby shots." Now she is a all grown up blowing kisses and a personality all her own. I can not believe she is One already. Of course I had a little help from my friends at little dreamer designs showcasing this photograph.

The flowers in my garden are in full bloom and make for some great shots. Only takes a minute to get some great pictures of your kids in the flowers. The memories will last a lifetime.

Mother's Day

I hope that you all have a great Mother's Day! Thank you to everyone who got in on the special and purchased gifts! I am happy to say all the gifts have been picked up and certificates. All that is left is to sit back and relax!

The photo is the only photo I have not taken that I will post on my blog. It is that of my dearest Mom. To say that I miss her is an understatement!! Everyday I think of her and something she may have told me. I think if only I had one more moment or even another second... what I may have done or said. We all wish for something... just to see her one more time, to hear her say she loved me, to see her hold her grandchildren... I close my eyes and it all comes true. I spent the morning planting her favorite daises and remembering her garden...

Part of a tradition that started my first "Motherless" mother's day, I am off to Door County for the weekend. Make your day memorable and enjoy! Remember to cherish every moment...

Weddings

Yes I did say wedding! I have had a billion requests for wedding photography. I wanted to make it official! So, this means yes I do weddings! I will shoot weddings that are "intimate and on a referral basis" only. So give me a call to discuss it.

Little Boys

I had to share this little man since I shared his sister... we all know we have to be fair! I have found that if you place a squirmy little boy on a tall stool they are a little more apt not to squirm. I got a lot of cute pics of Gavin once we figured out what was going to make him smile.

I found this saying and had to share it with you all... To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world! I have to find room on one of my walls for this quote. I just love the importance of it! So go squeeze your kids... they need you!

Little Miss Gabby

I haven't blogged this little gal lately... and realized she is growing up way to fast! We are fast approaching another birthday. Sometimes you realize that they are all grown up and are more independent than ever.. and sometimes they still need you! Even if she still thinks Hannah Montana is a lot cooler than her Mom! If she only knew... I got a little help with the graphics from my friends at little dreamer designs.

The Model

Okay I had to also share my little inspiration! I found the dress in an old trunk and the flower in a bin at the market .. the model I can not take credit for.... her Mom and Dad discovered her! After lots of photos and a little coaxing she was back in her bibs trying to keep up with her big brother.

Spring is in the Air!

If you are anything like me and have Cabin Fever. The sign of a flower or anything colorful outside would be nice! I like to buy flowers and dream of the garden they came from. It must be the best feeling in the world to walk in a daisy field barefoot. I think I smelled to many flowers today!

I am so in love with this little man! I can not seem to get enough. I am sure you will all get to see his little mug often. I can't stop photographing him! Nothing better than a little boy who loves to smile! I am sure you will all get a smile.

Baby Talk

I was thinking about what I would share in March. I have so much to share! Like custom photo purses are now available in Red & Brown Leather! or maybe I could tell you that I will be launching a website next month! Or maybe I could tell you that I am already booking the photo season! I will try to post dates as they become available on releases and further information on the site.

Take a peek at the latest little one I was blessed to photograph. Something about a baby that seems to stop everything in the house no matter how busy it was. To capture that joy in a bottle of having a little one in the house. It seems to make everything new again.

I have had so many photos emailed to me showing the finished photos in clients homes. Thank you for sharing! I love to see you showcase your memories. Some have used the photo as an inspiration and did a whole wall of photos. I wanted to share one of my photos. I think it is perfect thing to share since it is the month of "Love." Snow Perfect

The recent dumping of snow, makes the perfect reflection in photos. Sometimes the best light is natural lighting... and this photo is a great example.

Okay another 6 weeks of winter... so the shadow says. What else to do but get some fun pics of your kids. Its not always about the perfect outfit or smile. Sometimes the most serious faces, say it all. I look back at my kids and think where has the time gone... looking back at photos you realize how fast they grow up! I want to remember it all.

BUSY BUSY BUSY

I have had so many calls asking me about photos outdoor. AND guess what it is never to late to get outside and get a photo of the family!!! I think that this is a great picture and even more memorable if you live in Florida, which they do!
